Puppet Shows, Workshops, and More!

We offer an exciting roster of interactive, 25 minute puppet shows for all ages. Every show is followed up with a “meet and greet” where kids are encouraged to see the puppets up close and learn how they are made. All puppets are made from recycled materials, like cardboard and bike tubes!

    Vel-Crow and Hazel’s Wacky World Tour

    Our heroes Vel the Crow and Hazel Kanga-roon, set out on an exciting world tour to sing the praises of creative reuse and learn about other cultures. Their journey is full of imaginative characters, lively sing-a-longs and some interesting facts about how to make things from recycled materials, like toys! Join them in their homemade flying machine for the ultimate puppet adventure.





    BikeTrike Spoketacular

    Air-Rick, the inflatable car salesman, dreams of a spoke-tacular bicycle that can take him far from his dreary drudgery. But there’s a problem!! Bikes don’t quite fit his plastic body, so he must go on a perilous quest to seek help from the bike-building, half unicorn-half Pegasus, Bikey Spikey! Included are important lessons about creative reuse and bicycling.








    Deepsy Diver

    Join Deepsy and a colorful cast of aquatic characters as she journeys from the darkest depths of the oceans to the wondrous Willamette river. Interactive games and music abound in this educational tale of how we can protect and preserve our local watershed. Stick around after the show to meet Deepsy, Wesley Water Strider and many other marine puppets.

    Follow the adventures of Vel-Crow, as he bravely searches for his lost friend, Hazel, the Kanga-Raccoon. On his journey, our hero meets Land-Phil, a misunderstood character who teaches Vel-Crow an important lesson about friendship and what to do with our waste.
















    Dr. Partz’ Puppet Laboratory!

    Dr. Partz’ Puppet Laboratory

    Meet Doctor Partz, who makes dragons out of discs, princesses out of plastic and robots from recycled cardboard. After an environmentally informative tour of his puppet-making lab, he will show you how to bring your own creations to life with all salvaged materials












    Gourdy Pumpernickel’s Harvest Surprise

    It’s harvest season and time to go pick pumpkins with Gourdy! In this show, we wrestle with rapping weeds, rock out with an all vegetable band, and build the amazing scraptractorcycle. Learn about gardening, composting, and battling banana slugs with songs and jokes to boot!

    Do YOU have an event you need to spice up? You can Rent-a-Spectacle, and have everyone talking about the giant paper mache’ guests that were the life of the party: Mona, Chili-Pepper the Ringtoss Head, Primo Formaggio, Purple Goblin and Freddy Fish are all available!

    and the best part is: Everyone can try on a puppet themselves.

    Join the Mudeye Puppet Company in our never-ending mission to make puppets from salvaged materials! Our workshops are appropriate for all ages and families, you can bring your own creatures to life from cardboard boxes, bike tubes, bottle-caps and more. Make them walk, talk and fly!
